If Deadpool was a DC film, i think it would be called Deathstroke or Lobo, not Deadpool.

Batman83 Even though Deadpool is a parody of Deathstroke, Lobo is a more similar character. Wolverine isn't an anti-hero anymore, it's been like that for almost 20 years.

Cut out the jokes from the trailer and you're 100% accurate. BTW, probably the best fake trailer I've seen. Granted, it's a lot less clickbaity than fake trailers that are thumbnailed to like actual trailers. I'd probably watch a lot more of these if I didn't feel like they were trying to deceive people.

This isn't so much "if it's DC" as it is "if it was played straight." Deadpool isn't a traditional hero or antihero, and this movie doesn't fit either mold. DC sort of tried that with Suicide Squad with very different results.
