Seiko has been on a roll when it comes to releasing new GMT watches. It started back in 2022 with the SSK GMT (SSK001) and continued onwards with the Alpinist GMT (SPB379), the Navigator Timer (SPB411), and the Seiko 5 Field GMT (SSK023). However, for me the Seiko release of the year was undoubtedly the Marinemaster 200 GMT SPB383. It combines so many of the fantastic aspects of the Marinemaster 300 with true wearability and of course a GMT function. So the SPB383 was essentially my perfect Seiko.
Now that it’s been 8 months since I bought mine I’ve come to understand the watch on a deepr level, I have also been able to understand what it is like well past the initial honeymoon phase, and finally if it is worthy of not only replacing my MM300 but also replacing all of my Seikos. So in this video I’m going to go over what I’ve loved about the MM200 GMT and what I wasn’t a fan of over the past 8 months I’ve owned it.

-----WATCH FOR SALE-----
My Marinemaster 300 is now for sale for $1,500! The price is based on the lowest price found on watchcharts.com check out the information for yourself in this link below. I priced the watch at $1,500 because I want to make the transaction as simple as possible by just offering the lowest price from the start. Naturally, the price is firm.

As you can see from the video, the watch is in great condition only with scratches on the ends of the bottom lugs. Looking down at the wrist no scratches are visible. The bracelet was worn mauve three times so no scratches on it or the clasp. My MM300 hasn't been written very much since. Full set box and papers with the bracelet and the rubber strap.
