Well that's the thing i didnt like! I have 2 complaints about this film! 1, his kills were tooooo0000 easy! He literally was on infinite health mode, dude had no challenge smh. And they fights were too short! And 2nd THEY HAD A DIFFERENT COMPOSER!!!!!😢😖🙄 I wanted to here his theme!!!!!

Very brutal and graphical scene, ...dead driver in a seat of a van..., ...van hitting one of those three guys..., ...killing the other one with his own knife... That is NOT an "Equalizer". Reaction times close to zero and totally unrelated acquaintances are necessary to pull such a feat, it not only makes this scene hollow (brutal), it makes it sinister too. Mostly that's what i do not like. Besides, in my opinion it does not fit to such a fine character (as a real person and as an actor with a certain reputation) , to accept such a commitment. It is a very clear statement he impersonates - he has to take care of that and he has to do it "his" way, the right way, which is not the case here... Is my point of view extreme? Maybe... Then again, SUCH a public figure does not live in a vacuum, he is watched by millions and millions of people.....

The 1st film was the best in every way, especially story and characters. The 2nd was OK but far inferior to the 1st. I think they should have stopped there. I haven't seen more than scenes from the 3rd, and it's not encouraging.

@@surfwriter8461 The story of the second was pretty good, but man the execution of the hurricane town was just not credible in any way. We're supposed to believe that a sniper on a tower in a hurricane is both 1. able to wound McCall even with next to no visibility and literal hurricane force winds?!? and 2. Keep completely dry the entire time. I'm sure there was some sort of safety reason that they had to put the hurricane conditions in in post, but they definitely went ahead with some effort in replicating the wind conditions using practicals, so why not have some sort of lukewarm tub that the actor could sit in between takes so that on camera they'd be appropriately soaked through? I've watched the 2nd one a couple of times now, especially since I wanted to be fully ready for the 3rd, and I'm fully into the story right up until that scene in the little town. Just breaks down immersion right away.

​@@lincalmighty I have more problems than what you mention with #2. I think the young kid he mentors is not very compelling; the story of his former partner going rogue and being the villain of the piece is not half as strong as the villain and story line in Eq 1; and it strains for emotions that were more believable in 1. I've only seen selected scenes from #3, and so far I'm very disappointed, even disgusted. Denzel seems less credible in the role, and the scenes contain more forced, brutal and even sadistic violence. Plus there's this phony dialogue and cheap Christian symbolism toward the end, from what I saw in clips.
