Well earned, he made the show for me. Some moments in the series was slowed down with dialogue but not when Peter Dinklage was in the scene. "I wish!! I was the monster you think I am", "I'll let the Gods determine my fate, I demand a trial by combat" frking chills!

Take the other guy off at the knees and then take him down. Think about it. One hard hit in the ankle, and you're down lower than he is.

He had good lines in the books, however look on later seasons, Tyrion lines are just mainstream jokes and d1ck jokes

Agreed, he played the role like no other could. Also, after playing thise role, it prevents you for a while for people wanting to see you again on a screen. Just hope the guy is happy with what he is doing now.

Frankly there are several actors who probably should have won something - Charles Dance most certainly one of them for his portrayal of Tywin Lannister. The way he just exhudes authority... Definitely agree with you on Jack Gleeson as well.

It takes talent to play any character well. It's definitely easy to "hate" Joff, no matter who plays him.

Don't know if It's true, but, I heard the actor for Joffrey retired from acting after thus role. Partially due to how fans treated him for playing such a detestable role. Some people just can't separate fiction from reality.

The hound sees it, and is chuckling. And Margery says “wait! stop! help him!” quietly… Like oh darn I’m going to have to marry Tommen now. Whoopsie, did I do that… the last thing you hear is him screaming “I AM YOUR KING!! I AM YOUR..”. Later in the season you see Joffrey’s head on a spike in Flea Bottom.

it was somewhat satisfying but not satisfying enough, he needed something far worse - he got off very lightly considering how much of a remorseless piece of shit he was. Hung, drawn and quartered at minimum, to be frank.

It wasn't gruesome enough, not as gruesome as his personality.

Nah, that would cheapen Tyrion's wit. That he is able to put Joffrey in his place with words alone in most circumstances is one of the best aspects of Tyrion's character.
