If I was in demon slayer as a hashira - chapter 2
"You stupid women." With the loud thud, koyuki woke up breathing heavily with tears. It looks like she had a nightmare but it felt so real to her. A women dragging her by hair and a man slapping her. Like she was abused in her nightmare, she sighed as she glance outside the window, staring at the moon. There is a rumor about the flame hashira dying by the hand of the uppermoon 3. The tears slowly made their way as she grip her arms together. "I was wrong, I was late. I thought I could at least save rengoku-san.", Lost in her thoughts and the moon she just sob softly as she could. Maybe it was because of the nightmare, maybe it was because of rengoku death. Tonight she just felt lonely and gloomy. "The dream must be this body's memory", This made much sense cause she won't feel gloomy just because of one nightmare. "What a cruel life she lived", she told to the body she possessed, or should I say herself. She was the replacement of rengoku, the 9 hashiras left at 8 and she was the one to fill that place. She deeply sighed and went back to sleep again.
The morning was as usual, she woke up, ate and head up to meeting place. As soon as she entered the place, it was gloomy as the hell was. Probably because of rengoku's death. She sat near kagaya as he begin to speak with the other hashiras. "My dear children, met koyuki kaneko. The new hashira." She saw the hashiras eyes lift up in shock, as all the eyes immediately went on her. She felt uncomfortable but still managed to smile a bit. "Hello..", koyuki softly spoke and greet them by bowing her head. The stone hashira was impressed by the politeness and the gentle speaking. The water hashira seems to think that she was pretty young to be hashira as muichiro. And the love hashira absolutely adore her as soon as she saw her. "What is your breathing style, lady koyuki?", as gentle as the sea waves, Shinobu spoke with her painted face. "The breath of space.", Koyuki kept the answer short and direct as all the hashiras were kind of shock to hear that breathing. "Oh my? I have never heard such style, did you perhaps created it by yourself?", Shinobu asked with curiosity as other hashiras seem to be interested as well. "Yes, I create it by myself.", Koyuki again kept her answers short and direct because she just felt so much nervous. Shinobu noticed that and didn't ask more further. "Now that's what I call is flashy!", Uzui spoke to erase the awkwardness. "Thank you", The responds from koyuki were lame and short in Igoru's opinion, "She acts pretty much like tomioka", Iguro thought, not liking the new hashira at all.
Koyuki seem to bond with the hashiras pretty well. She always lose her mind around her fav hashira tomioka, as she feel like the wind and The Serpent Hashiras did not at the very fact liked her. The love and insect hashira seem to be very fond of her as she seem to get along with sound and stone hashiras as well.
