It's fun to see how little the human eye/brain needs to find things adorable. We have a square with a thick outline, two dots which can move and blink, and the whole block is wobbly like jelly. BOOM, a little adorable protagonist for a puzzle game!

You're overthinking it, Matt. In one of the last ones, where you need to "eat" these yellows from all four sides: when you did it the second run, you only needed to go from the other side, so the blue one would end up in the top left corner instead of top right, you didn't need to think of a completely new strategy for like ten more times. :) And it already happened many times, in different sorts of games - don't overthink it and throw away your plans - most of the time you're doing right and do just the smallest mistake. :)

In a recursion level, you should try pushing the level outside of itself. Maybe in the level you did right before Eat.

halfway through and im already curious if there's a paradox achievement or like, a rare move where you have two of you in the same-size level. I'm sure it's impossible but also could be a hidden bug or move... that'd be cool to see/experience

if you push a level out of itself, you can cause a paradox and get an achievement. RCE was in one of the levels where you could do this, but he skipped over the idea

there are two paradoxes, which are: (SPOILER WARNING) Exiting a room infinitely (which puts you inside the infinity side of said room) Entering a room infinitely (which puts you inside the epsilon side of said room)

I think the editing is (unusually for this channel) making watching this harder. Given the perspective changing nature of the game I didn't really like the cuts to different parts of the screen zoomed in. I think it's more important to be able to see the whole puzzle and with the simple art style I don't think the zooms are that necessary anyway.

Development Engineers are +1. They seem to come up with a concept and just see where it goes. Thanks for making this game that I have no intention of buying but I really appreciate your ingenuity. WTF enginutiy?.. grr English is deigned by architects. I can see that this is 2 years old but I am binge watching RCE :)

I don’t know if this helps with the game but try to think of the level block as A portal. One side it has a fixed point i.e. the exit. In the other end of the portal is the level block itself.

Reminds me of that one game I always played on the School Computer. Where you could input some numbers to get to certain levels. I think level 476 I actually solved. Or something in that regard.
