I was watching this video and when you picked up the turtle light I got so excited because I just sold one like that. And then you put the comp up and I was even more excited because it was my sale!!! I have been watching you for over a year and busted started reselling at the end of June. Over the weekend I picked up some McDonalds Batman mugs because I had seen you pick them up. I haven’t gotten those listed yet. I was just so excited that it was my comp you used.

This is an old video, but I was excited for you when you found the Grateful Dead tshirt! I just found 3 Dead shirts, a Hendrix shirt, and a Blues Festival shirt all from the nineties. They belonged to my son. I had no idea how valuable they were. He's thrilled I found them aftter all these years! He says they're not for sale though.

You can use an advent wreath as a table centrepiece for the 4 weeks leading up to Christmas. The first Sunday you light one candle, then each subsequent Sunday you light an additional candle 🕯️ until Christmas Eve, when all four candles plus a centre candle is lit. Traditionally there are three blue candles and one pink one in the wreath plus a larger white or gold one for the centre. The four candles represent Hope, Love, Joy (pink) and Peace and the centre one is the Christ candle.

That was beyond exciting - The pillow was a classic for color designs when I was in high school. The light-up turtle was unique and was so happy that Mat found that awesome Grateful Dead t-shirt. Just saying he can name his price because those Dead Head fans will pay anything for their memories!

My church growing up always had an advent wreath at the front of the sanctuary at Christmastime. It laid flat with the candles sitting in it, like a candle wreath. One of the four outside candles would be lit each Sunday leading up to Christmas , then the center candle would be lit on Christmas, signifying Christ Jesus’ birth (or advent…when God’s son came to Earth). I loved the advent wreath as a child. It helped make the holidays special and exciting to me. I bet you won’t have any trouble selling it. You hit the jackpot with that neighborhood! People practically giving their stuff away! Great scores! We are in Indiana and have vacationed in the Red River Gorge area a couple of times and ate at Miguel’s. Their cheesy sweet potato was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten. 😂 It’s a beautiful area. I enjoy watching and learning from you both. 😁

It's funny, and odd, to have watched this channel for so long to have witnessed the start and growth of Kayla and Matt's relationship, and WELL before that. From the awkward getting to know you stage when they 1st started filming together, to the "we've declared our relationship status but haven't declared our undying love yet" stage, to the most recent loving idioms of "babe", "hun", and the MOST telling "lovey" designations I honestly couldn't be happier for these two. Cuz tbh these 2 are simply just honest and lovely human beings. And the fact that they've found a shared passion in garage selling and I think more importantly each other makes it ALL the more special. It's like a modern day fairytale and we should ALL be thankful to be able to find that "someone" like they have. I honestly cant wait to see what the world holds for these 2 WONDERFUL people...

I mean I understand getting involved in the people's lives we're watching. But there's a BIG difference in feeling like you 100% KNOW the minute reasons to WHY a couple breaks up. YOU don't know if the reason why her ex was cheating, or IF he came out as gay, or some OTHER random reason, and I'm not saying EITHER are correct. THAT'S the problem with assuming... and there's a reason there's a saying for it.. "if you assume you make an ASS out of U and ME... So please tell me WHY you would think this statement holds any truth ot value? And WHY you can make such a statement based SOLELY on videos that are 25 min once a week. I'm genuinely curious at the answer...

I have that Mickey Baby Blanket, it was my oldest son's blanket, in 88, I bought him each piece of the crib set (sold separately) I want to say it was either 14.99 or 19.99 bought at Kmart. Baby Disney had blew up in popularity for nursery/ layette decore during the late 80's I'm sure you already sold it but thought I'd share a little info.

Advent is a thing you celebrate before christmas. The four sundays before christmas eve is the 4 sundays or advent. You light one candle on the 1st sunday og advent and then 2 on the second and so on. on the 4th sunday of advent you light all 4 candles. The 4th sunday of advent is always the last sunday before christmas eve 🥰❤️

I have a little story I went to a sale it was late in the day and laying of the hay wagon were lots of 1970’s Band t Shirts. Needless to say I bought every single on them There was a Grateful Dead t is the stuff I bought but the one that brought the most money was a Blue Oyster Cult Tee bought back good memories and it was about 7 years ago. Loved it!

That Grateful Dead Tee was almost as long as Kayla is tall! I'm not a huge GD fan, but when I graduated in 1994 they were playing right next door to where my graduation was held so we are able to hear the concert for free!

I'm from Germany originally so I suspect the "advent" wreath you picked up was European in origin. It's traditional there, to mark the each of the 4 Sundays before Christmas with candles. In general, advent means a way to count down the days/weeks until a celebration, as in "advent calendars".
