i feel like ppl make a fandom version of jake akin to this because they struggle with some of the disorders and things mentioned here, i have an sh addiction so seeing ppl make a version of jake who suffers with the same stuff i do can be somewhat liberating and nice to know other people exist with the same things i have, but i do think it’s not good to somewhat fetishize being trans, a sub, having these disorders, etc. (i’m saying this as a trans person who suffers with some of the disorders mentioned) some creators do address these disorders and things in a very positive light that shows how they affect people irl, it’s very few creators with very loud and annoying voices who make a tmf video with a jake like shown in the video :) also if people are having fun and not hurting anyone i don’t think we should criticize them (except for fetishizing trans people and mental disorders and stuff because that can affect people) sorry for the rant thought this would be of use to some people :D

EVERYWHERE and what also pisses me off is the mischaracterization of the character but i accept your rant and criticism (Though i may not get some parts)

@@saotomemihosuzukiii yea i agree that it’s getting really cliché and it happens with literally every fandom i’ve been apart of (ex. fnaf and dsmp) i was just saying how some things can be used really well with AUs but other things should really be looked at with a more critical lense if that makes sense, like ppl using characters such as jake to make being transgender out to be really toxic (like making it a characters entire personality or using being trans as a more perverse term or in a more perverse manner) sorry for ranting i just think that things online can get kinda out of hand sometimes and we have to look at stuff like this and see why some of these things can and can’t be acceptable yk? great video btw!! and i’m not putting down ppl who have trans head cannons on characters, just the very few people who think being trans is ‘quirky’ and stuff

NO CUZ THIS IS SO REAL I hate the complete mischaracterization that people do to Jake, like he got kicked out of a club yall he's not gonna kms over that jeez. Theres so much like depressing and triggering videos with him and it concerns me that so many people make them when in the actual show he's just rlly sad, not suicidal or even depressed just rlly upset.
