WHY DON'T THEY? Because some of what Muslim leaders say is bad Muslims must do to dominate the competition. Sayyid Qutb, a leading Muslim thinker of the 20th century, once wrote that he feared that Muslims would allow Islam "to become weak on the basis of the claim that it is a religion of peace. Yes, it is the religion of peace but in the sense of saving all of mankind from worshiping anything other than Allah and submitting all of mankind to the rule of Allah." Apparently, Islam is the religion of peace only in the sense that it is the religion of war. Muslims weren't allowed to lie, either. But when, says Ishaq 365, Muhammad asked "Who will rid me of Ibnu’l-Ashraf?" Muhammad bin Maslama replied that he would, but added "O apostle of God, we shall have to tell lies." Said Muhammad, "Say what you like, for you are free in this matter." And "this matter" is the war that Islam has always been and must always be to be true to the ways and means attributed to Muhammad. (The murder was accomplished that night.) Islam is bullshit from the word "go," but because Islam NEEDS bullshit it is sanctioned. Remember, too, that Muhammad, at Qur'ān 33:37, is said to have claimed a revelation from Allah awarding him his daughter-in-law. It may well be said that Islam is the religion of expedience.

But that does change the fact.. it's a good thing to preach about religion and religious book..it reminds us what we are suppose to be as a human.. preach good about religion.. spread it.. but if we turn it into recruitment that's when it effects are lost.. No religious book is eternal.. it was written and meant for a certain time.. element of God was added so that people follow it. But if we implement 2500 old following it will heart the society more than the cure..
