Today we have everyone's favourite Madagascar Villains in the Courtroom. We got Chantel Dubois ( Madagascar 3 : Europe's Most Wanted ), Makunga ( Madagascar 2: Escape 2 Africa ) and Dave (Penguins of Madagascar movie). What crimes have they comitted? DuBois acted outside of her jurisdiction for most of her crimes, as she was just a member of Monaco's animal control. Therefore, she would not have legally been allowed to go after the animals after they left Monaco. Also, what she did before boarding that train could count as stalking.

True, but she still pursued the animals all the way to America, so even if she had jurisdiction in the EU (which I am unsure on), she would still be guilty.

Also being a police would get her immunity for many of them. But at least 6 years for the crimes in Italy and the fine. With restriction to entre like 7 countries. The animals head Is ambiguos if it was legal or not. Like taxidermy,veterinarian, poaching,buying them in the black market or taking specimens from criminals.

Chantel DuBois doesn’t need a French passport to visit Italy as both countries are part of the European Union, which doesn’t need a visa, and all they need is a valid ID card. However, it doesn't apply when she visits the United States. But yeah, she’s still trespassing by riding a train to Italy.

Dubois is definitely broke no matter how good her pay was with a 5 million Euro charge. Makunga got a fate worse than death being stuck with Nana of all people. And Dave having over a millenia in years, before taking in life sentences and death sentences, has to be the larges amount of years I've see so far. Coupled with a $140,000 fine on top of all that.

But I have something to say about her that will shock you all to the core. (Dubois emerges from the rubble and sees Ash at the speaker stand; she gasps) I'm deeply sorry to break this to you all, but unfortunately, DuBois had no intention of bringing the animals back to the New York City Zoo in the first place. (the crowd gasps) She was secretly planning on killing the animals just so she could skin them and mount their heads on the walls as trophies in her home! She's more than just an animal control officer, she's a poacher! A deranged lunatic that hunts and kills animals for her own twisted amusement! She even kills endangered animals! (shows photos of DuBois' apartment taken Velma's laptop and the crowd gasps even more) Do you see what I mean, people?! She doesn't care about her job as animal control officer! All she does is poach animals just for the sport of it!

Maybe for European borders, but crossing into New York, and therefore the U.S., would still be illegal, unless Dubois and her team each had a legal passport to enter into the country that is just not presented in the movie. I also think that by that point, in a case where there were a few animals from a traveling circus on the loose, it would be within the bounds of the country the circus is in and the circus itself to try and capture/repossess the animals that escaped, not the psycho lady that is stalking animals across country borders for poaching. 😅
