Moral of the story: Nintendo doesn't create that much new power-ups anymore because then, a Koopa Troopa will kidnap Luigi and make Mario depressed so that he kills everybody and turns Mario into a PG-13 game.

Sibling relationships are like that in real life. Sometimes the older siblings disregard their younger siblings while other times the older siblings are so protective of their younger siblings that they'll do anything they can to make their younger siblings happy and keep them safe.

At this point, I'd consider Bowser and Mario more like friendly rivals if anything. If they can put aside their differences to compete in the Olympics, and compete in other spin-off titles, that doesn't really speak "villain" on the part of Bowser.

I love how this video shows the side of sibling relationships where siblings actually get along with each other. Yes, siblings in real life can be mean to each other like many videos of Mario and Luigi show, but we also get along with our siblings when we choose to do so.

I just love that, unlike many other Mario's portrayals in web animations, Mario is shown caring about his brother (and vice versa). I also love the animation (especially the hand-drawn closeup where they're hugging), the power-ups concepts, and the story itself. Keep up the good work, friend! :)

I love this, it's more faithful to the original series as well this shows Mario caring about Luigi, which is wholesome, I also loved references such as Military Mario, Dr Luigi, the Observatory from Mario Galaxy and New Donk City, one if the best animations there

I'm not one to usually overpraise an animation like this because i think it's kind of annoying, but this is a good animation. The animation is high-quality, the concept is super cool, and the storytelling is excellent. With all of that said, Luigi looking like the happiest man in the world while on a tank and bloody clothes is hilarious.

I am pleasantly surprised with two things: First: Portraying Mario and Luigi as good brothers instead of the overused "Mario is a dick to his younger twin"-trope. Second: Given the video title and original set-up I thought it would be a fun little (but mostly forgettable) romp. And it was for a while. I didn't expect it to turn so drastically in tone, but it was all the better for it. You don't expect anything bad from life at the moment and then you get hit like a truck.

When I first watched this video the ending almost made me cry seeing Luigi bleed is so sad but I love that Mario came for him it’s so nice to see that Mario cares for his brother and doesn’t want him to get hurt poor Luigi he was in so much pain but Mario came to save the day

Near the end I actually cried seeing luigi get so much love for Mario made me really happy even with seeing all the Mario is a bad brother is still makes me not believe those and that I will always still know that this still can prove those people wrong you did such a good job on this so much that I cried thank you for making my day showing that Mario is a good brother and I hope a lot of people will believe that too 🥲 with the music too just made it more happy/sad/kind for me I may be late to this but man I love it keep up the good work

@@kiernanhowell-mackinley1733 It’s a popular fan headcannon (that I don’t like). MatPat did make a THEORY on the subject, but MarPat did say it was a THEORY, but I guess people instead took it as Fact instead of a THEORY.
