The Transformation sequence is partly inspired from GaoGaiGar, and indirectly a homage to it.

Reminds me of the episode where Megas tried to "fuse" with other bots by wearing them like clothes. Good times.

Goddamn I miss this show, it's a shame it didn't get a season 3. Went back to see if it holds up recently and it really does.

honestly, it feels like megas would take this turn one day if the series moved on and coop needed to find a way to hide megas in plain sight. or otherwise scatter it to evade capture.

Imagine they finally did a season three for Megas XLR, and this was one of the first new features from the more powerful alternate universe Megas that was shown off.
