After leaving the NBA, Greg Oden returned to Ohio State to complete his degree, while there he was a student manager for the basketball team and helped with player development. He graduated with his degree in 2019 and became an athlete advisor for Edyoucore Sports & Entertainment.

He feels that way cuz he lost essentially his life. We go to school for years to work our 9-5s but these guys stay up till 12 and wake up at 5 pushing their bodies to the limit their whole entire life. Only difference, basketball is their life and thats all they know. They rlly know no life without basketball. Greg Oden(guy in the vid) was going to be a great nba center but injuries completely derailed his career. Gotta feel for what couldve been. People always talk about the money, but alot of these guys would play for free. If he could turn back time and get another chance to play he would take it in a heartbeat. They sleep, eat, breath basketball. Hope that explains what he was feeling.

He had his goal, dreams and desires stolen by the love of the game. To be able to take alllll ur fam one day to just getting by comfortable, oh that ache don't leave. What does it actually mean to be injury prone? Do some players just know how to jump and land safely? Do they have better awareness around them to never step on another dude feet? Injury prone to me says he got hurt alot cause its something he was either doing or not doing. You dont just randomly get injure all the time. Its something in your game/life that pushes your body to break
