Thanks for being real, I've always loved your messages and the way you are able to bring the messages of the Gospel and of the everlasting love and mercies of our Father. Thank you for being vulnerable and being a living testament to the way God uses our weaknesses and flaws to minister and strengthen. Some very inspirational messages to help my husband and I in our ministries. Kia kaha ki Kariti! (stay strong with Christ) Arohanui (Lots of love) brother!

It really hit me hard when you talked about the shame you feel on the days you don't believe in God, or you think He doesn't believe in you. I love God and I can't deny him in my heart but some days my faith feels smaller than a mustard seed. Thank you for letting me know I'm not the only one.

Social media encourages us to only show the good sides of ourselves and discourages the bad, making an illusion that we have our lives together, leading to idolization, jealousy, and/or inferiority in other because they don't have that kind of life. Only when we realize the people on the other side of the screen are broken human beings too is when we stop comparing and start looking up to the One who does have everything together. Thank you, Jon, for always pointing us to Jesus with each video you share!

It's called being human in an inhuman, God-forsaking, lost world. If only you knew, Jon my brother in Christ, how much being open like that can inspire, renew a Godly desire, rekindle a lost or dying fire, for us to be real, and Christ-like. Not all of us can rhyme like you but we feel as you do. Sometimes the encouragers need encouraging too. I have no videos of my own but pass on what helps me to others to help them too if God wills it. So do what you do, be you, and God will get you through. You are not alone Jon.

Thank you for saying the things that are rarely said by Christians. I feel like we talk about our failures in a sugar-coated way, making excuses and trying to turn ourselves into the victims, when we are the villains. Thank you for being open, vulnerable, saying the things that need to be heard.

Man, I can totally relate.. When I preach and teach I feel like people think I have it all together, but I'm pretty sure on most days I'm more lost than they are. Most of the time I'm just teaching them what God is teaching me... but that's ok, I'm proud to be used by Him!

The one thing people need right now: Intimacy. The reality that we share and do feel the same way sometimes. It's beautiful that within that video of sadness and hopelessness there is the calming sense of hope that it was human-made. No perfection complexes, no save-facing, no pretending, just pure human God Bless you Jon I love you and your works and I pray God is taking you somewhere you're not expecting

These videos are so incredible and The only way to explain these kinds of thoughts and words is by God! God lets us admit our greats guilts and fears because we are cleaned in his death. So much love and FIRE in one of Gods is more powerful than so many know!! This is a very important message to anyone trying to speak, write, draw, or anything else where you put yourself out there on the internet for other people to comment and critique. It's kinda common sense, but it's refreshing to hear that other people are just trying to figure life out the same way you are. Thanks for this reminder.

That was bomb!! #If Only.....remember if you ever get to see this comment. The enemy uses people and subversion to throw you off track. Makes suggestions all the time that who we are and what we do is not enough. Even coming at the son of God with "IF you are the son of God" obviously knowing full well who he was and is. Christ in his humanity knew who he was and his purpose and in moments where he was weak, the father gave him strength to drink the cup. You are set apart for a work that touches the lives of so many people. I pray God keeps everyday in your mind that very fact, and that no curses spoken in the form of hate to you or criticism will deter you. Keep doing his will , he will keep holding you up and giving you the power and words of inspiration. You are well appreciated my friend

Sometimes I wonder if other Christians, including yourself, have days of doubt, judgment, and worthlessness in their mind. Even though Christ is my rock and the riches of His mercy overwhelms me every day, the fact is I'm not perfectly sinless before a holy and immeasurable God and you've revealed to me that you agree. Of course we both know this and is the basis of Christ's atoning sacrifice, but our sin tries to point us to a different direction all the time. When I get to a place of spiritual weakness, I remind myself of a greater love and undeserving grace that's been the story since the genesis of time. Maybe the reason why God repeats His story of redemption, grace, and restoration from the Old Testament all the way to the New Testament over and over again is because He saw it necessary. We need to be reminded of His message every day because our falleness always makes us forget. Great video, it was beautiful said and wonderfully understood. Greatly appreciated it!

This is very good. Be encouraged in those moments, God is faithful too. I don't think I've ever thought about it, but I suppose I've loved your videos and your insights and just probably assumed you had it altogether. I think we often view our pastors and leaders in this way too, and I've been thinking about it a lot more lately since I am now marrying a man with the call to be a Pastor on his life. I certainly relate to many of the things you spoke about. I think this video reminded me that it's okay to not have it altogether all the time, I think it might help my fiancé as well. Thank you Jon--stay encouraged and know that these videos are blessing many people, and you will receive those same blessings in return. God never tires of blessing his children.

Man you are so great and today I think my trust in god shrinked because I have an kind of bad time at the moment but you filled the trust again and showed me that I am not the only Christian who has `bad`times and that trust in god is the key to reach your good times again! Thank you Jon !
