Actually, at the beginning of the movie, I think Puss escaped the cage that was handcuffed by the man. He wasn’t trespassing. Also his from from Shrek 4 technically didn’t happen because it’s a different timeline

At some point, Puss became friends with Fiona, Shrek, and the other royals. Shouldn't this mean the "World's greatest thief." gets a pardon for, at least, *some* of his crimes? Or is this a jurisdiction thing? If the ladder, wouldn't this strain relations between kingdoms since FarFarAway would technically be harboring a fugitive? Then again, wouldn't that logic extend to all the criminals and villains in "The Poison Apple" pub?
