Thanks for reviewing. Perfect timing, because I want to add a pilot or pilot style watch for my next time piece, to mark a new job, this watch made the shortlist. Laco Aviator & Vario Pilot are the other 2. Grey Dial for me though. ✌️

Nice review again mate. I understand the comparison with the Sinn. The clue of the Sinn is, besides of the uncomparable overengineering, the inner metal Ring of the bezel. It gives the watch that certain difference. Imo one of the best toolwatches on the market.

It is a nice watch with its own design language and properly priced, so for someone looking for such a type of watch, this is a good option. I also would not compare it to a Sinn, the design is quite different and I think that a Sinn looks more refined and has a better movement. I was thinking more of another watch especially when looking at the version with the steel bezel, namely the Venturo Field Watch 3. I bought that one last year but needed to send it back because it just did not speak to me, I usually cannot warm up to the indices / numerals on the pilot dials which are just painted on, I am just such a sucker for applied elements.

Nice looking watch and a good comparison on a budget. I really like the brushed steel bezel, it definitely stands out from the other models. Wasn't a Sinn watch worn into space by an astronaut in the 80's? I think it might have been an old Spacelab mission. Great review Kieron, cheers 👍

Are you familiar with Chotovelli watch brand? I got into them because of my love for Alfa, Romeo and automotive watches (I love my Monaco, and Yemma rally watches) I stumbled across Chotovelli due to their association, historically with Alfa, Romeo, and found they did pilot watches too. I picked up their yellow faced pilot watch for under £200 and love it. It gets so many comments as it just looks different! I have no idea if they are any good, I know they are not automatic obviously, but I do like the style of them. I hope they’re not considered a fashion watch??!!

Nice sweep on the seconds hand and the watch can be serviced easier than the Sinn
