@@DifferentTurnThere is a website where you can actually use AI generated voice. What you need to do is just give the AI like 10 minutes of crofty talking and it should work!

Nice effort, good video. My childhood graphics is 2004-2014 (i'm being a F1® fan since 2006), while my favourite graphics is 2004-2021. 27/02/2024 18:17 At My Local Time.

Maybe a positive use of AI would be for F1 to licence and use a legendary commentators voice for commentary through a vocoder. Imagine Murray Walker and James Hunt commentating on Hamilton and Verstappen.

The issue with original commentary is that they’re not going along with modern points system that is in use, therefore it wouldn’t make much sense. You didn’t like the voice overs? If that’s the case any feedback is welcomed 🙂

While I appreciate the effort and will in making and editing (and commenting) this... It made me realise how bad modern graphics are compared to the old ones (90s-early 00s)

@@DifferentTurnWhile the modern fit the current appeal and "Style" F1 has chose to pursue with its graphics.... The old ones (besides the classic and vintage look), were more streamlined and were less "fancy" if you know what I mean. Bigger caracthers, easier to red, less cluttering, information displayed at the right times.... A combination of those

@@Artiick it's interesting input. I agree that it could be the case of "less is more", in a sense that today's amount of data and details is a bit overwhelming for some viewers. Maybe F1 should do market research and consider as feature in F1 TV Pro the option of watching race with old graphics. For me, current approach is better simply because I enjoy the transparency of the action, that I'm aware of any driver's position at any moment. And in general I enjoy the looks🙂

I'm glad old races didn't put every bit of information constantly in your face. They were the good times where you actually used your brain watching a coverage.

I understand where you coming from, I remember the feeling of waiting until the end of the lap, before you can see the current order of positions, and there is for sure was some element of excitement in that.🙂 Personally, I prefer current one, since you have more data about every driver simultaneously, but it’s just a matter of preference.
