Based on True Incident : In my daughter's school, there was a boy... But he behaves like a girl ( i don't know the correct wording for this term)... That guy was ridiculed & mocked by everyone, not only the students but also the teachers. Last year, in the annual parents teachers meeting, he was told to transfer, infront of his parents & everyone, by the class teacher!! His mother literally slapped him & told him to die, as he has brought shame to his parents. That boy did take transfer, we heard he was sent to a boarding school very far away. & My daughter studies in a very reputed school of South Kolkata. If the school itself doesn't teach the students to accept the norm, if one of the leading schools of Kolkata doesn't teach their very own pupil that it is okay to stay just the way you are , then I'm very much afraid of the future generation. And I request everyone who are seeing my comment - please teach your children about these topics without being biased towards anything/anyone - homosexuality, gender equality, bullying, accepting new norms, misogyny, sexual objectification & racism... okay since i have seen a lots of comments here about misunderstanding the concept of "love is love" i want few things to be clarified ( its gonna be a long one ) 1. people who would argue "what about pedophilia?" you might wanna look into the definition of pedophilia again. it basically means sexually attracted to minors not just "loving" them and i dont think i need to explain why this is very problematic. 2. dont confuse sex with love. lgbtq+ is not just about homosexuals, bisexuals and pansexuals. asexuals and aromantic people exist in this community. 3. talking about the theme on "love is love". i really believe that most people misunderstand this concept. it basically wants to depict that if other's 'love' is treated as 'love' why not their (the queers) 'love' is treated as love? love can be romantic or platonic so just like heterosexuals, homosexuals, etc. asexuals and aromantic people's 'love' is valid too 4. sexual orientation and genders are very different things. eg. gay or bi is a sexual orientation and trans or non binary is a gender. 5. dont mix up with biological sex and gender. people saying "there are only 2 genders" well youre wrong in both sense. talking about genders its a whole diff thing which u may look upto google. about biological sex (or chromosomes u may include) the possibilities of sex chromosome arrangements are XX, XY, XO, and even XXY ! its just not it. some people are maybe born with a particular set of sex chromosomes, say, XY but they have both genitalia of female and male and vice versa. some may also have both sets of chromosomes ! these people are called the intersex which is also known as the 3rd gender in terms of BIOLOGY NOT SOCIALLY ps. thank you for being kind enough to read the whole para and if you want to educate yourself more you are free to visit any website as if u can read this you can afford internet. its not embarrassing to educate yourself and being educated by others. it is embarrassing and insensible to not knowing anything and speaking absolutely bullshit. if you have anything to express your opinion please dont get pressed and speak invalid facts. have a nice day

There are some homophobic comments but i feel positive about the supportive comments. Lgbt are born like that. Already indian psychological association and American psychological association has said that homosexuals or gays are normal. There are many species in which homosexuals are seen. Homophobes should really think to themselves, how someone's life is bothering them. People can be different than the mainstream masculinity or femininity. It should be ok to be whoever you want. Nobody should be forced to be something they aren't.

Last few days ago mom out of no where placed the topic of LGBTQ in front of me when I just came from school, she basically asked me what all this was about, I explained it directly, I always felt like being in an Indian society like this where one of my friend committed suicide due to sexual assault and getting harassed by a teacher, I had a fear already and after this incidence with my friend, my insecurity to speak this infront of my most close ones increased.. and when mom took the topic of community, I eventually panicked, I had nothing to panic about but it felt almost revealing myself, as soon I completed that little conversation w/ mom, she agreed to everything and even said that people don't need to suppress it to themselves, but our society is too filled with dirt to understand, I felt happy but I still can't speak a word for myself, she also told me that whatever happened to my friend, if ever happens with me, I should never hesitate to keep up the topic, I was shocked, she never said something like this to me! To be honest it felt awkward, very awkward, to talk something suchlike this first time in my life with her, and the way she understood all of it ! I definitely agree that when I would reveal myself, she will support my decision ❤ Late but, happy belated pride month lovelies 🏳️‍🌈

we are not properly educated about different kinds of gender. in the world where women are not given equal rights . People of LQBTQIA find it more difficult to express and clarify themselves..We must respect all kinds of gender after all at the end of day we are just human beings with emotions and feelings. I had a gay friend who used to act as a make up artist for me during school programmes and festivals . Now we are in different schools but we are still in contact. At 1:11 there were different options of gender but I am not aware of all of them since I am not properly educated about it but I will soon find so we all can live in harmony.
