SWING SONIX, as the name suggests, are a new ELECTRO SWING super group. Formed from a revolving cast of well-known professional songwriters, performers and studio boffins, their identity may be unknown, but there's nothing anonymous about their music. The debut single TIMES SQUARE soft launched the band here: idol-io.ffm.to... (or here: • Swing Sonix - Times Sq... ) but it will not have prepared you for what's coming next...
With the VIDEO - we were blown away by how well the music worked with the animation from Tim Burton's CORPSE BRIDE. There's no substitute for the amazing Danny Elfman score, and we would thoroughly recommend watching the film if you haven't already, but we hope you will enjoy this tribute video. We also know how you all love a little halloween swing. Duly noted and we do too, so why wait til October? We simply couldn't wait until then to drop this... let us know if you enjoyed it!

I compared the two. This version is a work of wonder by the EDITOR. The animation reedit is amazing! I've worked as an film editor as well as an animator before. I must say I am jealous!!!! LOL This makes me gonna get up out of retirement!!!!!

Is this an original song or a parody or electro swing remix of a song in the corpse bride movie? I haven’t seen the film and it wasn’t clear in the video description.

I’ll rewrite the blurb now the video is live. So, yes, it’s an original song, with an edit of visuals from the Corpse Bride… the actual soundtrack to which is very different but we thought the two worked together seamlessly.

@@FreshlySqueezed oh well it does work seamlessly!!! That’s why I was so confused, it’s great, but if the visuals are from the corpse bride how do y’all not get copy righted? The music is great, I loved it.

@@JustSomeWeirdo Thank you. It was irresistible when we saw how well it worked. We also saw other people had used the same footage without issue. And we have heavily edited it of course. TBH though, I am expecting they may claim the visual part at some point which is fine, and we're not pretending we made the visuals - just showing how well they can work in a different context. I would also always say - go watch the original movie because, like all Tim Burton's stuff, it's just amazing and I don't think this detracts from that in any way. More of a tribute really.
