@@darkmetaknight7 Dawn from the anime was the cartoon crush from my childhood but Cynthia is the current one. And yeah, you're absolutely right, Cynthia has so much more. She's an anthropologist, she's a total goof when it comes to snacks, she's incredibly kind and nurturing to younger trainers.

Not just that. The new region is based on Spain, and many names in Spanish traditionally have feminine names end in -a. Basically, the difference between Anthony and Toni in Spanish is just one letter: Antonio and Antonia. So, it makes sense that people thought Grusha was female since he was given a name that would be feminine in Spanish.

Cynthia, definitely, but if you had to force me to choose someone other than Cynthia, I'd go with Lorelei, or Lucy. Phoebe from Gen 3 is also very viable.

As much as I like Cyllene I feel like she would be the better Thatcher stand in here. She's got more political power and she's not traditionally attractive (though that hasn't stopped a legion of fans from thirsting for her). I just really hate to compare anyone to someone like that, you know? Also wouldn't it be hilarious if Grusha took off his scarf and he had a massive beard under there?
