Wait until married. Keep seperate till then. Share financial information before marriage while engaged. But It's easy to combine after marriage.

How beautiful to want to empower, and to further trust This is (likeYOU SAID) . Not for everyone, but the transparentcy is beautiful and refreshing. GOD is light, we are to live in the light. Yes I totally understand where you're coming from here and the dangers or simply how downgrading it is to have to ask for money as the "joint" account is run by precisely 1 person/ 1 manipulating controlling person, as I've lived it! Having it brought back in your face and making you feel intimidated for what you spend but watching and hearing them brag on how much they "give" to others, freely...My Kingdom Spouse and marriage will be so much different as the Lord has promised!!!

Nah, I wasn't worried about it. I had the ring on layaway at this point and we were engaged a week later. This was just a short video we did over my lunch break, but if you want to know the full story about it let me know because if you think the joint bank account was a big deal, that's child's play compared to what we did with the cars and credit cards lol. However, this isn't a financial advice channel, it's just us telling our story of what God gave us the grace to walk out as a testimony. There's so much that never makes it to video honestly it's crazy

Thanks for responding. I respect that those walking out a marriage promise will defy the rules and most common sense. I am on my 2nd marriage promise, so I understand that each scenario is different, and God many times requires in faith to do things much different than the world and the Church.
