First one is the original Super Soaker. I remember the original Easy Bake from the 60's. It was white and pink, shaped like an actual oven, but with side extension on each sides used to slide food in and out. Heated by a 100W light bulb. The next one... I may be to old to remember it. Skip-It. Another from the 60's. Never had Playdoo. I saw some, smelled it and got disgusted by the stench. But Silly Putty, YES ! Playschool was big from the late 60's to the early 90's.

I remember some of these toys or at least the modern iterations of them, it's crazy to me that some people might not know things like the Bop It. Like, I remember Sky Dancers and Doodle Bears but I'm not 100% sure of that was what they were called in the commercial I saw.

I used to have a Furbee my sister gave to me when she was young and I was so obsessed. I would take it EVERYWHERE. Once, I set m Furbee in a drawer and it went to sleep. I was fascinated and told everyone to shut up during dinner if they were being loud. 🤣

My Furby... My poor Furby.... My sister threw it down the stairs... WOODEN stairs... And since then, my Furby had some problems socializing (It wouldn't talk). But then I got the new Furby... I remembered the easy bake oven RIGHT away! I got my hand stuck in one once , it took like 20 minutes to get it out and I started imagining sleeping with it on my hand and going to school with it on my hand because I thought it would be on there forever . And it hurt SO bad!!! My hand was swollen when we finally got it out

my school used to have them spin its but they were taken away cause we used to whack each other around the ankles and chase people around spinning it on our arms, someone got a concussion from one in my last year there XD

I've noticed a distressing pattern on the internet: In the early 2000s, a lot of stuff I watched or read online involved people from the 80's talking about how great their stuff they grew up with was, and now I'm seeing the same thing happen with my own generation who grew up in the 90's. Now I'm worried that the internet has made venerating nostalgia the new cultural norm, causing more people to miss out on their own live's because we're too busy looking back at a past that is not our own. Or worse yet, maybe it's always been this way and the internet has just made it more obvious. But that's probably too serious of a thought to comment on a gloom video, so...... anyone remember Pogs?
