Not angry so much as she wants food and/or pets on her terms. Some cats can be a bit psychotic about how they're handled. I adopted a longhair a bit back that turns into a cuddler in a blue moon. The rest of the time he plays hard to get and if you wrap your arm around him, he'll freak out. He has a strange claustrophobic issue.

i don't like cats, but this girl across the street has a cat that i've become good friends with. little shit's probably in my top 5 best friends. it's the only neighborhood cat that doesn't hate me just for existing, it hates the cats that hate me, it doesn't run from my dog and make me chase it, and it doesn't hold a grudge like most cats i've encountered. i've had to yell at it to scare it away from dangerous things when it wanders into the garage, and i've also stepped on it's tail a few times by accident, it forgives and forgets like a dog. if it sees me outside, it comes running. it startles me every other day because it comes running at me out of nowhere like from under cars. i watch/maintain several properties on the street and it marches along side me like we're part of a gang or some shit when i'm going between places. i can pick it up and remove it from places it shouldn't be. it's only ever shown one single sign of aggression towards me and that's when i was petting it when one of the shitty neighborhood cats was making a fuss about something doing that stupid annoying cat growl. it swatted at me to stop petting it so it could focus all it's hatred on the other cat.
