Definitely had to ask for a new tailbone pad after trying to block Keisel for 4 quarters. One one of the tackles I whiffed my block on he hit our running back so hard he went from full forward speed to flying backward though the air five yards with his feet out in front of him. Offensive linemen: a thankless job that is criticized the most. Qb throws a quick td? Great wide receiver and throw. Qb gets sacked? Linemen need to do a better job even though he take 10 seconds to get through his progressions.
@godfather43773 жыл бұрын
It’s not a thankless job. Who tends to go the highest in the draft? QBs, then linemen. Who gets paid the most? QBs then linemen. Just because they don’t make sportscenter or the talking heads on first take never mention them doesn’t they aren’t rewarded heavily... Everyone knows outside the QB an offensive line is by far the most important thing in football. Heck, look at the Browns (my team)... They made an average QB like Baker look really good this year. They were what turn the team around this year.

@@falcon1378 Yep, I've always said give me a great line over great receivers all day long. That was the 'secret' to the Saints success. Not Drew Brees, Not Tayson Hill, and Not even Kamara. Even teams like the Packers and Chiefs with mobile QBs. What gets ignored is their offensive line is very good. Making QBs like Rodgers and Mahomes more dangerous. Its true they never get the credit the deserve. But they get the last laugh. Given their career longevity is the longest (outside QBs) and they get paid the most outside QBs..
