Alternatively, just remove the SD card and either blow into it or use pressurized air. And remember, different issues have different fixes. I had this same problem a few days ago, and I turned my Switch off and removed the card, and that seemed to fix it. But then again, the night prior, I accident accidentally dropped it while putting it away for the night. So, it's very likely the card was slightly displaced when I dropped it. Since the fix though, it hasn't had any trouble reading the card. Just be more delicate with your valuables, folks. They'll last longer, and you'll have less issues if you take better care of them. Fall and water damage can wreak havoc to your game consoles.

my issue is that it wont read it, but i dont get that error. other sd cards do work and the broken sd card also do work on my other switch. should i try the same or isnt that gonna fix it?

Any idea if you know how to fix when it won’t read the micro sd card but when going to settings it says it’s installed? I try to play a game and it would just close saying it can’t reas the micro and card even though it’s installed. Thanks for the advice by the way!
