holy shit man, these time were the worst years of my life IRL, but the best years of my life on Xbox. I would just block out everything and focus on hitting trickshots and having fun with my little group of Xbox friends. and i didn't really know people in my school that well, but i knew my trickshotting buddies so well because we would talk from 3 pm to 6 am everyday. i really miss this community, but i wouldn't want it to come back because it would never be the same, and i'm glad i got to be apart of it, and i will always look back at it as the best online video game community.

Possibly one of the biggest factors that ruined Call of Duty was being able to hide in Xbox parties in S&D. The toxic game chat interactions is what kept the games alive, as strange as it sounds

I started trickshotting and playing claw at 11, when mw2 was the popular game. I’m now 18 and I just want to say that these were the best times of my life, I’m glad to say I played the game and don’t regret it. Lol

im a freshman in college.. a lot has changed between now and then. these were my middle school memories. sometimes i feel like of all my friends that i played with back then im the only one to look back at this and notice that me as a person hasnt changed much. im still smiling and i really do miss being a kid. these videos and songs remind me of cod, skating, and day dreaming of cars & whatnot, great times.

The reactions you would get for hitting a shot from both teams, priceless.. the creativity and thought behind each and every shot was amazing. It’s sad this generation won’t be able to experience this in real time, some of the best years of my life without a doubt and something I’ll never forget

We have all had the greatest times of our lives playing this game as children not knowing anything about the world, but since we’ve grown up we have to realise that some things are meant to end. Let’s all just take pride in what we’ve experienced and never forgot the moments we lived, don’t use it as a negative thing, use it as motivation to move forward in our lives. All nighters made, friends made, and most of all memories. The community of gaming and KZfaq was at its peak and everyone was just having fun. Even though how dumb it sounds for most of us to say trickshotting and the cod community was literally my childhood and how I grew up and it’s sad it’s gone

Can’t lie I shed a tear to this. It’s not just the great cod games I miss, it’s the friends you associate playing them with. Running home from school to hop in a party with your friends to hit shots, play zombies or grind all night on a double xp weekend. No cares about anything no stress about money or work. What people don’t understand about trickshotting is that it’s never going to be revived to what it used to be. All the people that made the community have grown up and are living their lives. Sadly, we didn’t help get the newer generation into trickshotting enough and it’s killed it. This video kills me to watch. Even though it’s a game, all my best friends I used to play with that I didn’t even know irl, I barely had friends in real life but Xbox and PlayStation was a place to go and have unlimited friends. Getting on bo2 and switching between mw2, mw3, bo1, waw. And no matter what have a six man. It’s so heartbreaking to know that it’s not gonna be the same. I spent so much time in private matches with friends trying to find the best places to hit shots and it's crazy. Cods nowadays cant do justice to bo2 and mw2. :(
