The problem lies in that mindset of "guys you have fun with" and "guys you marry." Women and men are not the same and women modeling their behavior like that of a man will not work out. No man wants to be with a woman that is not thrilled by his presence (i.e. "fun") or feels as though he's being used to fufill somebody's daughter's goal of simply being married (i.e. her "settling" with him because the "fun" guy is not ready for marriage). So in your vital years, chasing the "fun" guy and then choosing to "date with a purpose" in your later years is a recipe for disaster. We pick up on these things as men, believe it or not. If we weren't "fun" enough for you back then, we sure aren't going to be when you're approaching your late 20s/30s.

And if you are even afraid of getting married or leaving your singleness, 'cuz you used to see/hear from brothers/males you grew up with that cheating and rough men are the norm and now you're literally afraid of every men , how to do?
