I've been feeling like this lately, I can relate to you. I also don't want to fit in, not that I can; I don't have the same beliefs, almost everyone around me believe in those things, and that makes me feel so... out of place, like I don't belong. It feels like no one understands me as if there's something wrong with me, maybe I'm just too dumb. Living a life that is true to me and surrounded by people who share the same values as I do, or accept me the way I'm. I wouldn't ask for more to be honest because now I only reflect what is inside if me, and this is the ultimatum for having peace with yourself . Dont give up. You can be diplomatic with those around you now, but dont lose hope and most importantly dont lose yourself. Educate yourself as much as you can and seek out people who are like you. Whatever beliefs you have or whatever you identify with, trust me there are gazillion people out there like you. They may be hidden, but they exist. Do what it takes to seek them out and build relationships with them, dont be shy, they will be your support system and that is very important in your journey. They may exist online, or in your neighbourhood, or in your school or workplace, just do your research and dont give up, they may need you too. I wish you all the luck ♡
