I dont think the body block is the issue, its that they rescue right away without taking a hit or getting the hunter on a cooldown and the hunter knows which side of the chair to hit to get the instant down

I can't body block properly at times so I rely on Tide Turner💀

The chair was at its limit so they were forced to rescue they can’t wait for the hunter to hit

she should have tried to bait the hunter or waited to be hit first before rescuing.. these kinds of mistakes can cost you a win

@@lasool9378 she did try to bait at the 2nd one but it didnt work out cause terrors are based on pure luck. on first one there wasnt enoguh time to even bait again not her problem at all

@@asteria4046 if she saw there wasnt enough time to get a hit on herself then she shouldve waited after half to secure a hit, otherwise no point in rescuing, theres a reason rescues like these are rare in higher tier and more common in elk/hound

dude what?? it is definitely barmaids fault, she didnt take the time to actually try rescue well, she baited like once and then did the full rescue. plus it really doesn’t matter when they got downed, ive kited for ages before and my teammates didnt decode…

before flywheel came in i always brought 6-9 on helena and go rescue during detention because we needed the tie💀

She should wait and take a hit before rescue even if i cross the line on chair because then i could change kite area and buy more time for them to decode

@@TonTon_IDV So you prefer a early after half rescue as long as they take the hit?. Doubt you would have kited longer than the used up chair time. If you were planning to use the tunning fork to get into factory, the hunter would get progress on latching onto you(maybe even get it fully on you since he has a fast hit recovery) and would have finished while you go to the pallet inside factory(if it's even still the) he would also have his crow and the ability to teleport to it. This was just unfortunate, the barmaid did good. The only better thing she could have done was rescue on the other side on the 1st rescue.

@@gotmilk4223 sometimes i prefer to die on a chair when hunter camp lol. then 3 people decode and they have some chance for tie 😅

​@@TonTon_IDVIf 3 people decode then the Nightmare will just see that all 3 ciphers are shaking and leave you completely (unless you're in low tier I guess) so it's good that Barmaid at least forced him to camp and bought time allowing the others to decode right 🧐

if you have problems with kite i recommend to watch a few more popular creators and use some of their tricks in the game, it helped me a lot in improving my gameplay

one thing i also suggest is to 1) be familiar hunter spawns and 2) don't underestimate hiding, especially if you find yourself running into the hunter / being first kite very often / are a decoder 👍 it's possible they might waste their time trying to find you

Some hunters will try to drag it out to the half line or until right before elimination, so they won’t hit that early on. If you encounter this type of hunter, then you really don’t have much of a choice. I also wouldn’t want to risk a terror shock right before half line/elimination

@@natalily that may work. However, rescuing immediately after half is not optimal…and waiting until the bar is almost full can result in the same thing happening

A Terror Shock occurs when a Hunter attacks a survivor while they are performing an action. This includes vaulting, healing, breaking a Rocket Chair, decoding (Cipher Machines or Mad Eye's Consoles), opening gates. Terror Shocks give twice the amount of damage, instantly downing most survivors and giving the Hunter double the amount of Presence.😅

Since a few months ago. But Flywheel is a really strong trait, problem is it’s a trait for TIGHT KITERS and HARASSERS. NOT RESCUERS. It helps with getting away from a hit and it’s a clutch persona + it has many immunity effects during the dash that makes it favorable . Ex: Immune to Naiad puddle dmg, stuns, etc But srsly people should bring tide at least 1 per match. Also in the current meta multiple tide turners from 3 or 4 are less common cus the meta is about survivors supporting their teammates and harassing the hunter. Ex: Enchantress, Antiquarian, Batter, Female dancer Also since I play on Asia server there’s less of a chance that flywheels fail cus teammates know how to use it most of the time

You do realize she's a barmaid, right? Why would she bring tide? She HAS to kite while healing, it's not that easy without a kiting persona

came back a few weeks ago after a long break and its safe to say that a lot of people lack game sense now.. but competitiveness has also really decreased so maybe its that, impossible to rank up without a team due to randoms

That's the most common strategy to buy time, rescuing immediately especially without tide is a guaranteed loss
