This is truly incredible. I was sure what I was going to get out of this one but I was pleasantly surprised. Shawn is incredibly thoughtful and can tell he has definitely does his research on food! I guess you really are what you eat. This one might be my favorite one yet.

Tks Ed Maylett and Shawn Stevenson, am a filipino retired nurse 68 yrs old, consider myself healthy even if I have an enlarged heart(cardiomegaly) due to myself abuse working double shifts for 4 yrs to make a bit more money however , I do eat variety of veggies and fish not much of meat . I do not eat processed foods or junk foods. Am so thankful to the infos you and Shawn have imparted tonite. Ed am with WFG so I had watched some of your podcast for WFG but not this program that you have excellent expert guests that give good education for healthy life. Appreciate your efforts in sharing your program in different aspects of life. God bless.

Great stuff brother. I appreciate the content and value you bring on all aspects of life. This one here is something I have been working on. I train 5-6 days a week, but nutrition has been a hurdle for me to dial in. After listening today, it’s apparent that I didn’t know what I didn’t know. Thanks again!

One of the best shows you have had. Real food is the answer. This processed food industry is criminal and the invention of "kid food" is destroying our country. So glad I did not have to grow up with this stuff as an 80 year old.

Best part of this show for me was learning about DHA/EPA and learning about the Omega 3 supplements for our brains... so blessed to hear the conversation . The consistency of the brain being like "Soft Butter," put things into perspective.... and of course, that was just the beginning for this amazing informative show......

Hi Ed, I didn't take the time to comment yesterday, sorry. Halfway through, I stopped. Went to Amazon and purchased Shawn's ebook Eat Better along with his ebook Sleep Better. Finished the Eat Better ebook and have implemented what I have learned setting up my 12 hours fasting period and now shopping for the food he recommends. It seems where ever we turn, I find out how little proper information has been given to us about just about everything. Its essential we keep on learning every day. Thanks Ed! Mel Waller

Ed, you are right most diet books outthere are pretty much all the same, I am a professional Chef, I has been saying for a few years now that people need to spend more time cooking in their kitchen, dont just hire a personal trainer for your results in the gym, get a nutritionist to guide you, get a Chef to show you simple skills to make you more efficent in your kitchen. Thank you for having Shawn on your show! I will buy his book today!

@@EdMylettShow Hi Ed! Every minute of this interview stood out like Las Vegas flashing lights😁 I’ve been learning a lot about food and it’s direct correlation to our emotions and energy. Listening to Shawn took that knowledge to whole new level. I was a believer that exercise had more importance than food. But learning how food contributes so much to how your body moves, how your emotions are affected and energy levels there’s definitely a switch. Shawn’s explanation on food diversity and our Indigenous diet is a new nutritional concept to dive into. Our society is all about elimination food fads and that’s a big problem. I was also hypnotized with how he broke down Fat. Never heard it articulated in that way. Excited to dive into his book when it arrives. Thanks again for always interviewing such impactful people for us to learn from🙏🏼

I personally believe you missed a golden opportunity to naming this “MAXING OUT YOUR LIFETIME” the reason I say this is because I believe and love Our Heavenly Father as well. If given Gods plan we can live out our maximum health and lifespan but we cannot add-on to our lifespan a single hour. However lack of knowledge is what shortens our lifespan and our bank accounts.
