First thing I did with my high trail was lower it but im sure it will sell. But personally I'd spend the extra $70 for the mini lmt.

Yeah.... Mini lmt has way better axles with a huge ring and pinion but a very slim axle housing

I recently moved from rural Minnesota to NYC, and i really miss crawling through the woods and ripping my 8s outcast and other large scale rigs out in the wide open spaces, sand pits, etc., so smalll scale atuff has really taken over for me. I have most of my big stuff stored back home, and the largest i can justify having in my tiny apartment is a 1/10 scale stadium/trophy truck. My mini Z's and brushless mini t have been so great for adjusting to apartment life, and i imagine others suffering through city living feel the same

I got a TRX-4m Bronco in June of 2023 and it’s a blast! Very fun. I even packed when the wife and I flew to see my cousin in Colorado and I did some trailing there. However, you quickly max their capability unless the trail is well-maintained or you crawl on a 1/18 or 1/24 purpose-built obstacle course. I have been itching to get back into 1/10 crawlers for a little while now. Bigger and more capability. (Your monster truck rally ad at the end was great! 😂)

The Bigfoot sticker kit is an add on, and since its the same body, you could i guess make a regular trx4m into a more scale original bigfoot....which i guess i will have too

I love minis but already have a Losi Mini LMT and FMS Smasher so I don't really feel a need to pick this up. It does look pretty cool, I just already have that niche filled in my collection

Doesn't seem like it is going to work very well with locked diffs. SCX24 based monsters were hard to drive fast with locked diffs and that is why the FMS Smasher was so much better.

@@T_TanksTinkers1066 judging by the occasional close out pricing and the inclusion in the FairRC mystery boxes, I don't think the Smasher was selling very well. Mini LMT is on another planet when it comes to driveability and was likely the last nail in the coffin.

Honest, i´m blowin away. This rig looks fantastic and the blue ford is even better. My tuned Trx 4m is already a beast but this will be a truelly mini monster. Can´t wait to get in my hands. BTW they should do it also in 1:10 with straight axles.

Now that Traxxas added the 2821 PORT adapter to the lineup we can do away with the USB charger and use their standard chargers for quicker fillups.

I love those Tiny Trucks. I like the Aftermarket from Injora. After Tuning 3 Trx4m incl. the high Trail i will bild one from sprach with the IR40 body. But Traxxas sound rebuild the esc especially for the trx4m crawler.

Would love to see what you'd come up with! :) The add at the end was priceless! 😂 There's something that puzzles and annoys me on 99% of all RCs. Cold, blueish led headlights. What's the thing with those? Are warm white leds that much more expensive? They'd look so much better...

Honestly, pretty awesome release. Always thought their next release would be a TRX4M sport to be more comp-focused. I’ve enjoyed the TRX4M platform. My k10 is definitely on the scale side. My Defender the same… higher performance is left to my scx24s and Redcat Ascent 18s. In other words, these really fill the scale niche in my collection, and this monster truck may find its way into my hands!

I'd that the FCX Max Smasher. Traxxas need to update the TRX-4 line and major overhaul new chassis new everything. Bring a comp style crawler like what Redcat Ascent Fusion is doing. And traxxas don't put in any crappy weak stock servos and electronics.

Nice review, thanks. What about battery life, how many minutes of fun on one charge? Can it take a nimh battery instead, which one? How fast, km/hr? Also, are there different modes on the esc?

No NIMH batteries for this model I’m afraid. Proprietary connector. Same ESC as others so yes, all the modes!

These were $262 in Canada when they first came out, tough to justify then. I don’t think they’ve done enough to justify getting one, and have a bad feeling they will be $300 or more this time.

What OD are those new tyres? It's great to have more options in the mini monster truck lineup. At the moment I'm using Max Smasher tyres on my SCX24 monster truck.
