What happens if you talk to Jack at 11:59 PM and wait for the daytime to give him Candy? Or what would happen if someone left your island at 4:59 AM? Or what if you set up your new island at 4:59 AM before brodcast? Or what would happen if you did a villagers present request at 12:00 AM?

@@simeonellinger2064 I think jack would disappear after the dialog closes, or it would force you out and then he disappears. If someone left the island at 4:59 AM, it'd probably work as normal if they disconnect under a minute. And if you set up a island at 4:59... I don't think broadcasts play as soon as you set it up but I might be wrong.

As much as I adore Animal Crossing, it’s undeniable that Nintendo really dropped the ball on New Horizons. It didn’t really hit me until I picked it up again earlier this year how it’s basically one step forward and two steps back in almost every way from New Leaf. I still love it, but I feel like that’s mostly due to the nostalgia I have of playing it during quarantine in spring of 2020. I hope Nintendo takes the many valid criticisms that fans had into account for future games because the dated features and gameplay present in New Horizons is quite frankly embarrassing for a game that released in 2020.

I haven’t played this game before, but Christ this feels like an episode of Curb your enthusiasm, everything just seems off limits and everyone practically tells you to stop being an ass and be with your visitor, when you literally can’t do anything else and there’s nothing to do.

I didn't realize just how limited you are if you have a visitor, I only ever had them for a minute or so during Nookazon trades. Really makes you wonder why Nintendo removed the mini games from New Horizons, there's not really much reason to play with friends without them.
