I actually witnessed my torches dropping off the walls, and just lying on the ground like a few days after watching this Video, and it really creeped me out, before I found out there are certain mobs in my modpack that can destroy torches when they run around next to them. I was so shook at first lmao💀

Yeah I think psychological horror is WAAAAAY better than the typical type of horror with like jump-scares every single minute or second (i.e. _Five Nights at Freddy's_ AHEM). Especially the type of psychological-horror/thriller that is real-subtle and it doesn't hit you immediately. I could argue that is something that *MOST* triple-"A" horror games (let alone movies) lack today. Especially the kind that you don't know what REALLY is going on-until at least the VERY END!

Yo Ray, please make more stories like these. Where instead of having monsters or entities in your world, it’s the world that’s haunted/corrupted, with a few unknown entities popping out too. It’s really fun. Also, I like the stories where the entity is unknown/nameless. I don’t really like the entities with cheap bloody “scary” reskins of Minecraft avatars, or random.

The jumpscares are a little cringe and this video could've had a better ending, like all the torches disappearing, even from "mikey", then all the torches from the sphere disappearing. Or the characters being stuck in the tunnels with no light source then a sudden death screen appears (better than that jumpscare in my opinion)

I saw the warning in the description of this video, but the jump scare still got me, and I was mining once in my world (ALONE) and my torches disappeared my friend joined the server and investigated everything but there was nothing, then we went to the mines and all the torches were gone, and we had a lot of tunnels so we didn't have the time to break all torches, then we went to our cactus farm and wool farm and all the torches were gone and there was wool and muton on the floor of the sheep farm, and everything was really dark, I looked for videos of research on this, glad I found this one. it explains a lot.

ok that was AMAZING, that jumpscare at the end really got me good! though to be honest, as scared as i'd be if i encountered this thing, i'd probably try and make a deal with it since mobs dont seem to spawn where it lives, i'd make a deal where i keep all my tunnels dark for it and instead use night vision potions that way it has an ever-expanding house for it to roam around and i'll have a mob-less mineshaft, and maybe a new friend :)

The only thing I have to say is that, the torch disappearing scene scared me. And I yelled “cheap!” While laughing. And that jump scare was really good. There should be a creepypasta called; If your tunnels start widening, DELETE YOUR WORLD! like a player had made a 3x3 tunnel but then overtime, the tunnel widened to 5x5 amd 7x7 and eventually 35x35 amd it should be 51 minutes!

Idea for a entity: The entity doesn’t have a name but some people call it the shapeshifter as if you have a multiplayer world and only one person is online it might shapeshift into one of your friends, if you talk to it for to long if may take you, but if your friend joins back the entity will disappear but it will watch you from a distance - it will target one player to take, there’s a few ways to tell if he’s taken over a person avatar 1 - It might have hashtags sometimes in the words it speaks 2 - The skin might look a bit diffrent You can escape hime by deleting your world but if you haven’t deleted your world he will be in every other world watching you till he gets what he wants
