The narration of Abū Mūsā al-Ashʿarī: عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ:‏ لاَ نِكَاحَ إِلاَّ بِوَلِيٍّ On the authority of Abū Mūsā that the Prophet (upon him be peace) said: “There is no marriage except for with a guardian.”[17] (2) The narration of ʿĀʾishah: عَنْ عَائِشَةَ، قَالَتْ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: أَيُّمَا امْرَأَةٍ نَكَحَتْ بِغَيْرِ إِذْنِ مَوَالِيهَا فَنِكَاحُهَا بَاطِلٌ On the authority of ʿĀʾishah that the Prophet (upon him be peace) said: “Any woman who marries without the consent of her guardians, her marriage is invalid…”[18] (3) The narration of Abū Hurayrah: عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ، قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ:‏ لاَ تُزَوِّجُ الْمَرْأَةُ الْمَرْأَةَ وَلاَ تُزَوِّجُ الْمَرْأَةُ نَفْسَهَا فَإِنَّ الزَّانِيَةَ هِيَ الَّتِي تُزَوِّجُ نَفْسَهَا On the authority of Abū Hurayrah that the Prophet (upon him be peace) said: “No woman should arrange the marriage of another woman, and no woman should arrange her own marriage. The adulteress is the one who arranges her own marriage.” [19]

Telling men to walk away because of the father is not good advice , I get it the father loves his daughter and he is worried for her and for a women to come say I’m in love is wrong and not wise as this would show she’s been in a haram relationship but she can go to the father and say a “brother asked for your number and he asked me to give you his number he is interested in getting to know me and the family regarding marriage and please dad can we get to know him I find him attractive and he attends the local masjid and Ect” This is I fine and a father should not get angry or make this difficult for the daughter rather assist her in an act of worship which is marriage and assist her in doing a sunnah . He should vet the man ask about him and like go meet them family and take it slow and have meetings and ask him questions throughly and ask his family questions and ask them ‏brothers who give da’wah if they know him and his family and ask the Islamist centres and Masaajids Ect

Genuinely thinking, What species of Muslim Dad are these...where are they found?... (I hope this is Possible Somewhere, but in My opinion ideally its a good Theory Practically impossible. ) This will be thought as craziness and unmodest unshy women i.e a Bad Muslimah)Most most Muslim culture more "shy" a woman the more Better she is. its a lot more complicated than Men assume...

Don’t speak without knowledge. Look at the authentic Hadith and then speak. You reject authentic sahih Hadith you are considered a deviant. To be a true Muslim one accepts all the authentic sahih Hadith and every word of the Quran as right and the world of Allah.

It's not up to her father who she marries, it's up to her. Allah and Islam has given her that right. No human can take it away. Edit: My comment got a ❤ Subhan Allah.

In this fatwa: It is not permissible for a man to marry a woman without the consent of her legal guardian, such as her father or brother; either she has or has not previously married.@@fungshui4850

@@fungshui4850 ik, but the respect has to be there, and you should listen to your father as much as possible. If you marry out of disrespect, then that is a different story. Again, the respect is key to marriage. The thing is, if the husband has to see his father-in-law sad every day because he is his wife's husband, he might as well have not married the girl (I think that's what Muhammad Hoblos was trying to say, and also that the father has experience. The daughter should ask her father why to not marry the man and such, as conversation is also very important. Of course, permission is not obligatory, but the parents have a wisdom, and you should ask your parents before marriage that "Should I marry so-and-so". If they say no, ask why, and present your own opinions as well to them. Do duaa to soften their hearts, and see things from their persepective.) Also, another very important duaa to make is to marry the person that is best for you, and a person that will bring you closer to Allah.
