Very true, westerners separate the negative from the positive, without knowing that they are both together, another thing that most of the westerners need to realize and free themselves in letting go of the belief in ""satan"", its time to be logical and understand that the "devil" doesn't exist, only positive and negative energies that we created with our characters, our intent. our belief, what we are constantly talking, thinking and doing daily, our behavior!!¡¡ is shaping our destination in life...!!! 'See God created everything in 2s, like; Women/Man, Yes/No, Up/Down, Right/Left, Day/Night, Good/Bad, Life/ 'For that reason we should always love and respect everything that is in the existence of our beautiful and benevolent universe, everyone and everything is connected, we all become one {☝🌍} by you believing in a devil thats tempting you or watching you, you are creating fear, fear doesn't exist only in your mind, fear only will bring illnesses and catastrophic situations into your own personal magnetic field, free yourself from thinking in stuff that is not serving you in a healthy spiritual energy path, be a logical thinker.. Free yourself!!!! Empower yourself with our wise, beautiful and benevolent universe......🌍 No more fear....... 🍃🌞🍂 ifaf0undati0n ⚫ 0rg

Thank you for this informative segment; it is much appreciated. As a Black American who's very interested in learning about all things African, Dr. Oluwole's words resonate with me. This reminds me of Dr. Ben Jochannan's lectures on spirituality; holistic thinking that contains various disciplines makes all the sense in the world.

As a theologian, I can confidently say that we have a lot of oral traditions that can match either of the Hebrew or Greek works. We are closest to the Hebrews. As Hebrews are best known for economics, analytic physics and philosophy, we too can make giant leaps in science if we could pholosphize on the traditions of our common heritage as Yoruba. Thank God for this woman and others dedicated to the reconstruction of our cultural self!

Don't insult yourself - you not closest to the Hebrews, you are one of the groups that formed the original Hebrews/Israelites. Also the Greeks borrowed a lot of their philosophy from your African ancestors. Learn your history and stop belittling yourself.

Ifa is a method of divination evolved under the Yoruba religious system (Much as you have the IChinq in the Bhudist, the Urim and Thumim in the Jewish, the Tarot in the Wicca and so forth), it itself is not a religion but a system of divination. Used in the verbal sense, 'to d'afa' means to cast the lots of Ifa (Under the Ikin system, the lots traditionally consists of dried Palm Kernel nuts). In the light of recent technological developments Ifa though mathematically binnarial is more akin to quantum entanglement wherein matter (Corporeal) and Ideas/thoughts (incorporeal) and so forth exist in a singularity much like saying 'Aiye' which could refer to matter whilst also referring to antimatter. There is no deity nor religion called Ifa (though the eerindilogun system is often used during idolatory rites). Ifa is a physical representation of an ancient yet effective quantum system of divination. Jesu L'oba koyipada

@@rayajao1566 This is just beating a dead horse, Yeshua, Jesus, Yeshu et.al. are mere names, it is the spirit/the intent attached to it that counts but for the sake of uniformity so we are all on the same page, we have by common consensus ascribed Jesus to that singular intent which we collectively invoke. If you like scream Yeshua or Jesus till tomorrow, it holds no power except what you have by intent ascribed to it...shikena

I agree with a few of her arguments, however, most of her assertions are misplaced. She lost me when she described Ifa as a 'profound' science. A lack of substantial scientific inventions or proven theories stemming from Ifa divinations knowledge surely negate any arguments in that favor.

How can you even criticize a subject you have never studied or looked deeply into. From your name, i guess you're Yoruba or of Benin extraction but your comment shows that you view what you know of Ifa from movies, else you wont have made such statement. I agree totally with her school of thought on the subject, when she described Ifa as a profound science, in that even the ancient greek scholars, Socrates and co came to Africa to be thought about Khemite or Chemistry, which literally means blackness.

She obviously lost you even before she started speaking! Cos you would have heard when she said the philosophy is still at the stage where all the disciplines in that school of thought are still inherent within it and haven't been subdivided or separated! How can they be when most educated people taken on such mindsets calling what they do know nonsense just because some one else says so.... The African philosophies and Eastern philosophies predates most of recorded history, we really need to look to our way... It is there we will find the development and advancement we are looking to the west for!
