To any body that may be considering this cables, just got these I was not expecting to hear a difference with my little Iotavx (I bought them for the denon pma sx11 really), I heard a difference immediately I did not want to say nothing (I thought I was just imagining things) but Then my wife walked in the room and said why does it sound different, she had no knowledge of the cables....I did not think that she would notice a difference, but talk about a blind test....and these are the cheap regular ones. My dac is the chord Qutest, spikers Ls50 meta and I do have and upgrade power cord for the Qutest and a clean power supply for all the audio gear man it all adds up really nicely....can wait for my amp to arrive. These cables are cheap but I'm rather impressed thanks for the great review to Tharbamar. Forgot to mention I also have 2 REL Ht subs connected to it That's where I noticed the biggest difference the base.

I am so amazed by the SMSL D300 and the sound (magic feeling) it is pouring into my brain based on your recommendation, that I immediately went to purchase these cables that are almost the same price of the DAC, because the DAC is THAT good and deserves everything I can help it with. Once again, THANK YOU for your recommendation of the SMSL D300 dac.

These power cables are great and, imo, beat out much more expensive cables from Nordost, Isotek & others. There’s something inherently correct about their sound, no emphasized frequencies or focus one one thing. They just flesh out what is already there, make it bolder and more alive. Curiously, the Supanova is technically the better cable yet I prefer the Nova for my solid state Hegel amp. The purifier on the Supanova expands the soundstage and gives incredible tone purity but at the slight expense of dynamics. I prefer using it on my DAC and phono stage. Highly recommend these ifi cables!

All I changed was to a Pangea 9SE mk2 on my Denon pma a100 plugged direct into wall and Technics TT and Denon dcd a100 into $32 SS6B Furman filtered power strip. No more slight TT hum which was a pain and much darker background. Really everything easily sounds better, even less record surface noise with just those two changes. Hard to believe, I wouldn’t unless I experienced it. I would like to add an IFi power chord to the CD player, just using stock chord now. TT sceptical what that would improve but might anyway.

A while back I bought a Furman Elite 15-DMI power conditioner. I didn't notice much difference, but at least I had better protection. Then I broke down and bought some $30 power cables off Amazon that DMS recommended. I immediately noticed that my solid state gear was closing the gap with my tube amp. The sound stage was more natural and believable. Also, I brought out my oldest amp/DAC and found that it's resolution was now on par with my newer, more expensive stuff. I never thought power cables could make a difference, but I guess they do. I can understand better if you have a conditioner, making sure the power stays clean to the component. I am skeptical about plugging fancy, passive cables right into the wall though. Does ifi suggest the use of their in-line filter cable if you already have surge protection or a power conditioner? Normally, you do not want to stack protection circuits as they can actually cancel each other out by not properly arresting big surges.

Suggestion, take your noise and performance measurements on your amplifier output before and after using any / all of these power cables. You will measure ZERO difference as your amplifiers power supply is designed to regulate the power and eliminate AC noise. Isn't the primary reason for using these cables to reduce AC noise? Do you really think that a 3 ft power cable (or worthless power conditioner) from your amp to the wall is going to change the sonic quality of your amplifier and alter power characteristics of AC power sent many miles over transmission lines and the 14 gauge wires in your house? If the difference in noise is unmeasurable, can you magically hear a decrease in noise, or the sonic quality of your amplifier??? Plenty of proof this is BS on Audioholics and Audio Science Review. Psychoacoustics can be a powerful placebo. They look great and a person can buy whatever they want, but these cables are worthless. If you "think" they improve the sound great, whatever flips your trigger as they say. How about doing a blind listening test with 5 audiophiles between all cables and see if anyone can actually hear the differences? Pick the "best" of the bunch on a regular basis, or pick specific cables. That would be great video. Now on to speaker cable floor risers...
