I believe Eddie here, but a TUE is an exemption so clearly you could take same but not fail your test because you get a higher allowance in your results. Plus he wouldn't die after losing his 8th fight. They would still make money after a loss. It was a banker. Its standard business practice but I think if AJ went for a matchroom stake mid way through Eddie would have taken it.

@Box Jabber Yea he was discussing AJs interest in promoting. I think they even were going to co-promote something at one point so yea you never know he may have something in their contract. At the end of the day I doubt AJ is unhappy with his financial position. But if he does lose this rematch and find it difficult next year suddenly Hearn is the one who is looking like the big winner out of the AJ career due to how he has built off the back of it and doesn't rely on him anymore. Hearn is now a household name in America. Promoters must sometimes be relieved they are not the ones in the ring risking everything.

Matchroom is a huge company. They were earning a lot of money before AJ and they'll be earning more long after him

I don’t necessarily dis agree but the level of opposition has been far greater before Vlad it was Breazelle Molina and Charles martin but after Wlad it’s been constantly top 5/10 in the world opponents Parker Povetkin and Ruiz so i think we forget how inexperienced AJ still is ... give him another 3-5 years of boxing at this level or even slightly lower level (top 20/50 opponents) similar to Wilder and Fury he will be unstoppable and that’s FACTS Wilder has fought 2 top 5 level opponents in 42 fights he’s won 1 and lost 1 so that’s terrible and even the fight he beat Ortiz he was wobbled and got saved by the ref .. and Fury has just fought the 4th best heavyweight in Germany and 2 guys ranked outside the top 100 with a Wilder fight in the middle ... imagine AJ fighting a guy outside the top 50 he would get slaughtered by the AJ haters so because he consistently want to put on great events for the fans and he takes one risk to many we murder him at least he’s daring to be great and make history fight after fight we should applaud him win lose or draw
