There's a lot more to this song man and evidently you haven't been through as much hell as this man has been. This song literally is the words of my life everyday. I have wrote some good songs myself been to prison 3 times lost my sister, mother, and grandmother. Sister and mom died from the lifestyle. And I'm here still have overcome some of my hard lifestyle at least enough to stay out of jail and provide for my girl, her son, and myself. But this song makes the killing the pain time more therapeutic and not so lonely. Keep it up Jelly Roll, keep it real, not too many keeping it real these days the world needs ya don't forget that.

Jelly I’m 63 and my wife is 57 we saw your show in the Woodlands. Big brother it was the best 37th wedding anniversary we have ever celebrated. My wife is in recovery from pills and booze. She’s been sober now,for 5 years. Now before that is would relaps time and time again but y Gods grace and her hard work she’s doing good today. I have some many people tell me to leave her.
