The two most influential female pilots in my becoming an instrument rated pilot myself. thank you Mary for being a great instructor loved every minute leaning from you. and to the King's what else can you say they have probably introduced more people to flying than any others in history.

Our traffic controller prefer we say we have exited the runway, no confusion with the word Clear which is usually associated with clear to take off or land. I’ve since changed my radio call to we have exited the runway. Just a little tid bit.

With lost coms, why did you not set the transponder to 7600?

I think only because this was an exercise they did not want to set to the real emergency transponder.

The transponder code for lost comms / radio failure IS 7600, not because this was an “exercise”.

Stating she was setting transponder to 7600 but not actually do it since it was simulated after checking frequency and volume would have been good checks. Still a very helpful video for us learning IFR procedures for malfunctions of equipment.
