Hey! I have a doubt in graph. In ms they had awarded one mark for best fit line but over here it's just a line passing through all the points so does that count as best fit? Hope you reply soon. Thankyou!❤️

Hmm I thought best fit line meant a straight line and not a curved one Am I wrong or what am I missing here 6:43

Yes, best fit means a straight line if I'm not wrong :D ! I think she meant she was drawing a line that passes through all the points? They'll mostly just ask us to draw a smooth line graph like shown, but best fit line is having equal points on either side... hope this makes sense! Good luck for your exams

Will u be posting 2018 , 2019 past papers ? If its not much to ask , could u explain how to find the new resistance when the qn says length and cross sectional area . I understand the length factor like if length is doubles then resistance is also doubles , but cross sectional area is wat I don't understand like if the qn says initial resistance is 2 ohms and cross sectional area is 2× , so for this will it be 1/2 or 1/4 to be multiplied w 2 .

Dude I'll help! Its for physics right? You need to use the resistivity formula which the symbol used for resistivity is p, the same as the symbol for density. But dont get confused lol. So first you need to know that resistance is directly proportional to length and resistance is inversely proportional to area and distance(squared)

@khalid ramiz so know just create two simultaneous eqns and solve for the resistance.. resistivity can be cancelled out for both eqns as it is a constant. Hope this helped!

So the reason why the resistance is decreased when the cross sectional area increases is because there are more area to allow electrons to pass through when the cross sectional area increases in the wire.
