Күн бұрынJesus, holy... I'm trembling. I've played this game as a kid so much and I thought, what the hey, why not just speedrun it for a change. First run and it's WR. I tried to show my splits at the end, I don't know how to do that, so I'll take a pic and hopefully they'll accept it with the run.

Oh it's so refreshing to see this game played well. When I was a kid my mom and I both got pretty blindingly fast in this game, and this is the first time I've seen gameplay on that caliber. I know zero other people who had or even heard of this game, but it was excellent. When I used to bring it to play at daycare, no one could even compete because it was so weird and hard to learn.

I never played it, but just randomly remembered how I saw an ad for it in a Nintendo Power magazine or something. First time for me to see the gameplay lol

Also idk if you know this, but you can use a boost right when going through the checkered flag platform to hit it faster. It might not be much, but it'll help make a run shorter little by little

Thank you my good viewer. I'm planning on doing more runs soon. Not sure when however. I also do wanna do other worlds as well. These will be on my N64 rather than an emulator though, so no more audio/video desync!

In terms of speed, it's definitely Izzy. Charlie is my favorite however. I tested a run with him a couple weeks ago and I got a few seconds faster than WR for Medium difficulty. Also Charlie is the fastest on coasters

@@thepinkstrategist1023 well I watched a speed test that showed charlie is the fastest. Somebody tested the speed of each character. Agreed. Charlie is a cool concept.

Really 1 try and you got the WR? That's pretty insane, not many people run this then? I remember playing as well when I was a kid. Not to be disrespectful but I think I could've beat your WR back then :P. Probably not anymore though with this tired old fingers

I mean it's a pre simple run. Yeah not many run this. I was only able to get it because I've literally been playing since I was two lmao. It's just based off my years of experience. Nothing much else. Didn't pull off strats in this one compared to my sub 9 one.

@@RazorBladezX Mainly I'd prefer on an N64 Classic so I can have my N64 controller and be able to actually record in higher quality with my HDMI recorder. Can't wait for a drop.

With new strats implemented and stuff, it's pretty precise now, definitely really hard on some of the other worlds

It's actually on emulator so it's kinda choppy, which is why it's not recommended for runs. This was also during the time I didn't have a recording device, so I had to use screen record on my laptop.

Doesn't look sped up to me. This game got pretty frantic paced once you figured out how to do it.
