@@sinnombre__fun fact : the basket is actually a kini of radar that identify friend or foe, Basically the stinger is a handheld sidewinder Meaning that the soviet counterpart that doesnt have any radar dont even care if its a soviet or western plane itll track any kind of heat source.

@@HKiller45ACP you can just put the basket out, or fold it evenly, thats why the radar looks like a basket, so the radar is innactive then you can shoot it freely.

3:04, in project reality it's a single use until you resupply it due to balance reasons. It's a milsim 50vs50 after all. Plus its a lock-on but you can shoulder fire it although the projectile would fire randomly.

Fun Fact: These launcher names have some intresting names: -Igla (игла ) meaning needle -Strela (стрелa) meaning arrow -Verba (верба) meaning a willow. I know no one asked, but here you go.

No, its concurrent to the Stinger. Just russian made and inferior due to the absence of the friend or foe identification basket thinggy on the side. Cheaper and mass producible tho.
