YES GUYS, how about another glitchfest for the channel? How about watching another video of those where you don't understand ANYTHING about what's happening? 😆
If you've already watched any of my TASes using CHEATS, you won't be too surprised by this one, but if you've never watched any of my cheated TAS, then you'll be amazed at what you're going to watch now 😅
This TAS is a glitchfest using arbitrary code execution (ACE). Unlike a cheated TAS, this TAS places codes in the game's memory using the inputs (controls) themselves. Through a crash, it is possible to reach the control registers and from there write interesting codes in the game's memory. This TAS is normal until minute 1:24. From that point on, the code is written into memory and things start to get a little weird hehe.
In short, what I did in this TAS was write code in the game's subroutine so that through the controls I could control certain addresses in memory. The code is as follows:
Pressing L on controller 1 = increments slot 7 sprite ID
Pressing R on controller 1 = increments slot 6 sprite ID
Pressing L on controller 5 = increments the item box
Pressing R on controller 5 = changes Mario's powerup
With this, through controls 1 and 5 I was able to control many things and do extreme crazy things, as you will see in the video. Did you not understand anything from the explanation? No problem, it's hard to understand. In that case, just watch and enjoy 😆
This glitchfest is relatively short compared to my other glitchfests because I wouldn't have anything to show in 2 or 3 hours. In a way, even with codes in memory, you end up being a little limited.

That final battle was so bizarre and hillarious, love how the Princess and Mario totally ignored Bowser who was still alive and then, Mario faced the princess like saying "Wait for me there babe, I have something to finish" and she turned into something and flew away lol

Bro wait! I remember when we had old nes bootleg console (super game vcd 300) and some kid (my mum's friend's son) tried to play it. I opened the Adventure Island 1 game and left it with him. Couple of minutes I realized that he wasn't playing the game, he was PRETENDING to play game. In these nes games if you open a game but don't touch START button, game plays a demo itself and show the gameplay. This kid didn't push the start button, instead he watched the same demo over and over and just mashed the all button, dumb but insanely fun! And some time later I came back and see what he did... boy he changed the game! IIRC he finally started the game but game was different, levels and colour palettes were different and you had INFINITE lives. This kid unkowingly did arbitrary code execution in the game!! Holy shit man... after all these years I just realised this with these tas bot videos..

I think my favorite part of this TAS is Luigi failing to escape the alternate universe as Mario died his final natural death, his soul being reborn in the main menu, making him to achieve ultimate undeath and overwrite Luigi with himself. Poor Luigi was simply used to get closer to Bowser. As for the king Koopa himself, he was molded and warped like clay until nothing of him remained, his castle and the entire surrounding valley had been overwritten. Fantastic work Igor, that was terrifying.

Duplication is relatively simple, just throw the item at the right time. Just be aware that Mario needs to have zero speed and that you need to be in the correct position (to duplicate sideways, place the item in a position in the middle of the block and to duplicate upwards, place the item in the center of the block). Set the video to 0.25x and you can roughly see the position of the item relative to the block. When you're in the right position, just throw the item at the right time.
