The characterisation played by Sir Singham was really so surprising and unimaginable .. all thought it would be Sir Mani for sure , but got twisted ..This script made me remember of Por Thozil , where all were very sure that Sir Sunil Sukhada was not so useful n applicable to be a killer , the strongest and doubtfull was onto Sir Sarath Babu but all went opposite direction .. Mr. Singam Puli, *Hats off to you*. I can understand from your speech you acted as "child molester" in this Maharajah movie. I appreciate you not just for accepting this role and portrayed it in on screen. But taking up the social menace in this society for girl child (that too within the family circle) without considering the damage to your public image. You may be portrayed as negative character in this movie but you are the real hero for the society. Just because of you tabled the issue it will create awareness among the public and they will keep an eye on this. My best wishes for future endeavors. Don't worry about immature people who scold you on phone or directly for your act and considering your image. Remember these immature people didn't understand about the positive impact you created in our society for the girl child and women welfare. They don't know to differentiate betwen wolves and dogs because of it goes by same appearance. Stupidity in this society is same girl child and women won't understand what you have done is for their welfare. Ignore their immature emotional thought process even if it comes from your wife or mother. People like you need to go through rough phases in life though you did meaningful life saving work for this society. I didn't watched this film. But surely watch it in theatre. Mr. Soori like normal people/immature actor goes by public Image. I really feel bad about his stupid comments. Becoming a protagonist from comedy role is not big thing. But do the role which really create impact to this society like Singam puli. We cannot go by public image. People are mature enough to understand how people have image mask. Don't be heroic in movies and stupids in real life. If this society or people not recognized your (Singam Puli) character in positive note than it is their problem not yours. But still you win as an actor and social reformer.

@@rajinidemurugan5843 Before answering to your question whether you accept it or not he is a good person because he didnt bother about what others think about existing image and willingly portrayed one of the crucial social issue on screen. Hopefully "actor" singam puli and "real life singam puli" is different. So dont confuse the "reel life image" with "real life image". As a mature audience, when an actor carries social issue on their shoulder, they should be really appreciated instead of degraded considering reel life portrayal. Please wake up from reel life imagination. In real life, social reformers wont be like heroes and need not to be like heroes. Sometimes they need to "impersonate" others (with bad character) to publish the social evils to others. Heroes cannot be a social reformers because of they bother more about public image. You can understand how these hero imaged people (from 1960's to till now) capitalized their image to enter into politics. Do you think they did good to our society ? They always caged themselves within that constructed public image and become puppet in others hands. These reell/fake real life heroes cant construct heoric image without strong villain character with evil acts. For example: Recently one of the actor who tried to capitalize Kallakurichi liquor death incident for his political entry. Watch movies from Villain/antagonist perspective, they are the one who portray the social evils which is under the carpet in any society. Exclude the exaggerated psycho killer and other exaggerated evils portrayed. If Vijay Sethupathi like personalities think antagonist role can help him to release his temper that is wrong (he mentioned it in one of his interview). Antagonist gets appreciated only when they portray the actual social evil in their society. If the evil nature portrayed in reel life is not exist in that society or exaggerated, they wont get appreciation from public. We need to mature enough to appreciate the right one which is good for our society and future. It is nothing but identifying who is our real heroes. Heroic acts can be enjoyed while watching the movies but when you come out of theatres it doesnt have any values. But character with socil message will be carried along with us even after leaving the movie theatres.
