Because he's the "leader" who "steers the show". Or he just has no talent and appointed himself to do the one job that theoretically anyone should be able to do. and holy fucking shit, how the fuck do you not know how to pronounce "Caleb"? Who the fuck would ever think to say "Cal-ebb"? Not even Rich Vos would make that flub.

Yep. He has to convince himself that he matters because he reads the articles. It's why he's always interrupting gold to go to some shitty caller. He can't actually contribute to any conversation or joke so he has to cut off Ant and Jim with "LETS GO TO USELESS IN SHITTYCOMMENTVILLE" every few minutes...

Remember in elementary school when the teacher would call on some poor black kid to read something out loud and they would take forever to struggle through it?
