As an old skool Beyoncé fan I have struggled to agree with her constant evolution in her music. I actually liked Act 1 Renaissance and the dance theme. Very edgy. But when I heard she was doing a country album I was completely turned off....But fast forward to 2 days ago, when I decided to give it a listen after all the rave reviews....I'm completely blown away...Blown away by her creativity and artistry. People critique her for not writing her own songs etc but you can't deny her creativity and her musicality. I feel this album is definitely Grammy worthy. The duet with Miley is mesmerising and the one with Wllie Nelson, Just For Fun is the best on the album in my opinion. Beyoncé is a trendsetter, a Tyrannt like her other song on the album is called. The theme is clearly about defiance and blending genres....its awesome...all hail B!!

SALUTE TO YOU FOR GIVING THEE ALBUM A CHANCE. SHE TOLD ZERO LIES ON SAYING, "THIS IS NOT A COUNTRY ALBUM, IT'S A BEYONCÉ ALBUM." WHOEVER DENIES THEMSELF THIS ART, HISTORY, CULTURE, AND COLLABORATIONS IS DOING THEMSELVES A DISSERVICE. I'M QUITE SURE EVEN THE RACISTS WHO ARE FROTHING AT THE MOUTH IN ANGER NOW... WILL ALL EVENTUALLY LISTEN TO IT... IF FOR NO OTHER REASON THAN "F.O.M.O."! THEE WORLD IS RAVING ABOUT 'COWBOY CARTER' AAAAAAND DEVOURED THEE TOP *****26***** SPOTS ON THE COUNTRY CHARTS!!!!!!... THAT'S FAAAAAR "TOO LOUD" TO BE IGNORED. SHE DEMOLISHED THE CONCEPT OF PLACING AN ALBUM IN A NEAT LITTLE GENRE CATEGORY... ART IS ART... AND MORE OFTEN THAN NOT, ART DEFIES BEING SHOVED IN A CONVENIENT BOX FOR OTHERS TO SLEEP BETTER AT NIGHT. HAHAHAHAHA! STAY WELL AND KEEP THAT BEAUTIFUL MIND OPEN! ✊🏽🤠❤️🖤💚👑✨

She does write. She gives up and coming young writers the ablity to get real experience and get paid. She also employs 500 people at her production company. What aretist at her level does that . i can tell you NONE . She even hired unknown black country artist to make contributions to her ablum . Everyone is eating from her check. She is a great person.

I’ve learned over the years to simply trust the process and let her art and magic craft into your heart and mind interrupted by our id. The skill and excellence of it…demands your attention, levity and vulnerability. Shes’s earned that…as what’s received in return is pure joy and a true masterpiece to be unraveled for years to come.
