When you make some video, please present the info. right. BSc and MSc means Bachelor and Master of Science (Hons). BSMS means Bachelor and Master of Science in Research. A specialized degree that a student receives after exposing themselves in research for 5 years along with rigorous course schedule , not inspired from US . And also, BSc and MSc (3+2) and BSMS (4+1 yrs) course planning is completely different . Donot compare Research institute by NIRF ranking better to Compare it by Nature's Index. IISER Berhampur not only provides BS-MS in PCMB, but also offers BS-MS degree in Earth and Environmental Science, BS degree in Engineering Biology as well as in Engineering Physics. Also, the college is going to offer BS-MS in Computer and Data Science from the upcoming session. From IISER Berhampur Edit: well, as per the latest updates, the institution has closed the department of engineering physics and is only going to offer a minor degree in engineering biology.

IAT eligible for current 12 passout and the very next year. I am a dropper, and no one told me about this exam when I just passed out, feeling so dejected now. After appearing for NEET (prepared from Kolkata Vidyapeeth) , I thought of sitting for IAT and I solved previous year IAT questions and my marks came really well, I could have got IISER Pune, but just now when I sat for filling out the Application form, it showed "12 passing year" - 2022 and 2023 only. Extremely heartbroken.

10:22 It doesn't matter if you are PCM or PCB student, you have to attempt all four sections. If you are Maths student prepare for Biology and vice versa.

IISER Pune still doesn't offer BS-MS in Data Science. It may be offered in future years.

These institutes are India's reputed institutes. Because of hipe of the engneering career specially in CS, students and parents are not advised to prepare for IAT (IISER APTITUDE TEST) by these JEE LEANING coaching clases. Believe me, IAT is the easyest and best way to enter in IISER rather then JEE route and its have heavy 75 % seat allocation to IAT. It is open now for 2023. The aluminies of these IISERs are now getting campus office in the respective IISERs. I suggest to choose IISERs above NITs. The researchers of IISERs are getting admissions in worlds top institutes like MIT, STANFORD, MAX PLANCK etc. Jay Jawan, Jay Kisan, Jay Vigyan and now, Jay Anusandhan(research) is the government's focus for next generation. By the way, my son is in IISER MOHALI 2021 Batch. And Indian BSMSs are getting more attensions from the worlds top reseach institutes and they are aquiring our students with almost free with the diffrent scolerships for PhD.

It's kind of more about subject wise , as mohali is best if you wanna go for bio and kolkata for physics but condensed matter physics is more in kolkata and pune and mohali are better for astromony and astrophysics
