Do we need knowledge of software like (catia ,solidworks) before joining MTech in design? Or it will be in the curriculum of Mtech (specially IIT-D and IIT-B) Regretting after seeing packages, This year I was selected for aerospace at (IIT-B,IIT-G,IIT-K) ,Industrial (IIT D) ,manufacturing (IIT M) CAD & Robotics and Renewable at (IIT-R) ab ye vid dekh ke aisi feel aa rhi k kitni badi badi opportunities chor di 🥺

In mtech design you don't have to do 3d modeling much so it's not necessary to have knowledge of 3d modeling software You may use simulation software or coding language for various course and project and you can't learn everything before joining, it's better to learn whatever is required along with mtech

Both are good IIT Madras have better job opportunity with little research exposure IISc has more research exposure with little less job opportunity compared to IITM But that all depends on your branch also

Bhai mijhe iss year Mtech Mechanical Design me mil rha hai IIT Delhi me, but bhai iska doubt hai ki CGPA acchi ban paayegi ya nhi... Because me private Tier 3 college se hu yha ja level bahut zyada rahega.. Iska guide krdo bhai.... Because mujhe job ke liye mtech krna hai btech se nhi mil rhi hai...

Bhai ke khud tier-3 clg se hun And jo Banda hai video me vo bhi tier-3 clg se hai To tumhara btech clg matter nahi karta, matter ye karta hai ki tum vaha Jake kitni mehnat karoge, agar ache se padhoge to aa jayega CGPA

There is TCS research centre which is taking consultancy project in core field also So mechanical design has to do designing only
