Orientation starts on 20th. Thus reporting is on 20th. Please join iitk ug freshers forum y19 on facebook. That's the official group, and you will get a lot of info there

IIT Kanpur::::::- I have studies my B.Tech from Dr. KN Modi Foundation, Modinagar in Ghaziabad District under UPTU, session was 2007-11. Everyone knows about every IIT present in the country so do I. I know Cawnpore from many years as many of my branch students were from Kanpur and other branches students of KNGD Modi Engineering College were from Kanpur, so well know about this city as it is mostly famous for leather industries. I came to Kanpur few years ago during ramzan before Eid, so seen closely this city and the industries how leather shoes are made. People should come and explore this city not only due to coaching centers and IIT but also due to industries.

@Amogh Srivastava physics - cengage bm sharma. I used this book for studying theory and solved most of it..i was weak in optics so i solved balaji for that purpose...For chem inorganic i thoroughly studied ncert then my class notes and read small parts of jd lee..for physical chemistry i solved coaching material and cengage..for organic i studied coaching material,solved problems sir gave and also solved ms chouhan...maths was hardest subject for me...i solved arihant series,coaching material....i tried improving maths by various other ways but couldnt... ...last 3 months i solely solved questions in mock tests..revised my syllabus based on tests..... I strongly beleive coaching is required for cracking jee unless u start years back...i myself started prep in 11th...i strongly beleive that i cant understand concepts deeply unless taught by teacher....so i recommend you to join some coaching institute...
