IITPP originally had Black Mesa's music which was Inbound that plays during Phase 0.5, Part 2 for meltdown and Part 3 for freezedown.

magma crystals are similiar to xen crystals. There is door to anomalious materials lab in iitpp, tram system is also similiar to black messa. And that man who is in all endings is copy of g man.

Well ARF likes black mesa and half life so it makes sense the music and game is inspired.

and lots of early core games were heavily influenced by valve titles, such as HL 1 and 2, and Portal 1 and 2, causing fan games like IITPP to be influenced by proxy
